Diagnostic Testing

At Signature Health we go beyond Annual Health Assessments and provide a range of other health services to meet your unique health needs. Our dedicated team is here to support your health journey every step of the way. Many of the health services below are found in the Annual Health Assessment but can be arranged individually with a referral from a physician, nurse practitioner, or insurance company.

Cardiac Testing

Electrocardiogram (ECG) Measures the electrical activity of the heart that can provide information about your heart’s rhythm, rate, and electrical pattern.
Exercise Stress Test A diagnostic test to evaluate how your heart performs under physical exertion.

Echocardiogram An ultrasound that creates detailed images of the heart to provide information about the heart’s structure, function and blood flow.

General Ultrasounds

Abdominal Ultrasound To identify concerns related to the liver, kidneys, pancreas, gallbladder, spleen, and abdominal blood vessels.

Trans-Abdominal Pelvic Ultrasound

To identify concerns related to the ovaries, uterus, and bladder.

Combination Pelvic Ultrasound (Includes both trans-abdominal and trans-vaginal Pelvic Ultrasounds)

Both internal (trans-vaginal) and external (trans-abdominal) scans, with focus on the ovaries, endometrium, uterus, and cervix.

Trans-vaginal scanning can provide significantly more detail but is not appropriate for everyone. Please ask a team member if you are unsure which option is right for you.

Thyroid Ultrasound

High-resolution imaging to evaluate the size, shape, structure, and function of the thyroid gland, including any nodules and cysts.

Carotid Artery Ultrasound

Detects any blockages or narrowing of the arteries, which can indicate an increased risk of stroke.

Scrotal / Testicular Ultrasound

To identify concerns related to the scrotum, testicles, and surrounding structures.

Soft Tissue / Lump Ultrasound

Determines the makeup of palpable lumps and bumps – can differentiate between cysts, fatty deposits, lymph nodes, hernias, etc.

Breast Ultrasound

Localized imaging of either the right or left breast for assessing symptoms such as palpable lumps, discharge, or pain. Bilateral breast screening ultrasound is used to get a full picture of both breasts.

Especially helpful for those who have dense breast tissue.

Typically, breast screening ultrasound is used in combination with other breast screening tools such as mammogram.
